Transport of 1400 tons Drilling Cantilever Unit

Through our broad network in the industry, the new owners of the Cantilever Unit reached out to us with their transport request for the unit from The Netherlands to the Middle East. After months of negotiations with the new owners of the Cantilever Unit and various vessel owners who could transport the cargo, we finally awarded the contract to RollDock Shipping.

Because the negotiations took quite some time, the window left to prepare all documentation, engineering, and aligning all subcontractors involved was very short. With these challenging conditions, it’s good you can build on your relations to connect and align highly qualified and knowledgeable partners from the industry to pull this job off in a concise window.

As the new owners did not have an office in The Netherlands, we acted as their representative to intermediate between the Dutch subcontractors and service suppliers.

Many thanks to Rolldock, Koole, and Mammoet for all your support and effort. We made it all possible in this short window. It was challenging till the last moment, but the excellent teamwork made this project work!

This a great project example that MARNEX provides a one-stop-shop and safe harbor for sustainable maritime services.
